Hudson’s Article in La Gazzetta di Parma- A Recap of his Semester Abroad
On May 14, 2025, La Gazzetta di Parma, the main news outlet here in Parma, published an article I wrote about my experience interning for Parma Partecipazioni Calcistiche (PPC) while studying abroad in Parma for the semester. Writing in Italian, I spoke about what I accomplished interning for them in these 4 months and the invaluable lessons I learned being immersed in the culture of such a historic club, Parma Calcio 1913.
An Eventful Matchday at the Tardini: Parma takes on league leaders Inter
League leaders Inter travel to 16th-placed Parma for their third game in 6 days. An eventful match awaits as an optimistic Parma looks to exploit a tired Inter side…
Review of the Derby in Milan and a Preview of Parma-Inter on Saturday
Last night, I had the opportunity to see the Derby della Madonnina at San Siro, for the semifinal of the Coppa Italia. The match finished 1-1, leaving it all to play for in the second leg in 3 weeks’ time. This game was important for Parma because Inter will travel to the Stadio Tardini on Saturday to face them. Inter will most definitely be tired because they played last Sunday, yesterday, and now Saturday. 3 matches in 6 days is not easy, and we’ll see how Inter look this weekend.
What has happened to Chelsea under Enzo Maresca?
Up until the end of December, Chelsea was playing some incredible soccer and firmly contending for the title. Pundits everywhere were eating their words and it looked as if Chelsea’s new owners were finally being vindicated for their massive overhaul these last couple of years. However, Chelsea’s season has been tailing off since. A run of inconsistent results and uninspiring performances has now left Chelsea back in 4th place, 21 points off first-placed Liverpool after being as close as 3 points back earlier in the season.

Parma Calcio 1913 vs Roma - A 1-0 Win for Roma at the Tardini
It was my first game at the Tardini, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Though a red card for 18 year old Parma defender Giovanni Leoni took the sting out of the game in the 30th minute, the atmosphere was incredible throughout. Entirely different to my experience at San Siro, the Tardini offers an authentic small-town Italian feel. The passion surrounds you everywhere, despite Parma’s struggles this season. Continue reading for my review of the game and the match day experience as a whole.
My First Serie A Game: AC Milan vs Parma Review
Walking up to the San Siro, I was immediately overwhelmed by the atmosphere, the passion, and the beauty of such an incredible stadium. AC Milan is one of the most historic clubs in Europe, and it was a dream to experience a game in person. Not to mention, I witnessed a comeback for the ages, as Milan scored two goals in added time to steal a 3-2 victory over Parma.
